Extreme Networks is gearing up for its inaugural EMEA Partner Conference (19th – 21st November) in Athens. This is a pivotal event for our company where we’ll give more than 175 EMEA partners unprecedented access to our leadership, new product innovation, demos, and sales and marketing strategy. For the first time, we will also welcome partners from across the Aerohive ecosystem, following the acquisition of Aerohive in August. This is an exciting opportunity to welcome some new faces, as well as reconnect with existing long-standing partners.
New and old alike… we’re looking forward to exploring the opportunities which the new and expanded Extreme can offer. We firmly believe the inclusion of Aerohive’s solutions and services into Extreme gives us a unique edge over the competition. Extreme is now the only cloud-driven, end-to-end enterprise networking vendor in the market.
So, what can delegates expect from this year’s event?
The week before the conference, we’ll be warming up with a technical partner event, also in Athens, with partners from Northern and Eastern Europe in attendance. In partnership with the Extreme Heroes Partner Program – which nurtures an elite community of technical experts who are passionate about IT and Extreme Networks technology – all attendees will take part in a charity run, with proceeds being donated to Together for Children, an association of non-profit NGOs that work in the field of child welfare.
Extreme is also partnering with Jangala, a UK-based charity dedicated to enabling internet access for people in need of urgent humanitarian aid or longer-term development assistance. Richard Thanki, Co-founder of Jangala will speak at the Partner Awards Ceremony to take place on Wednesday 20th November. If you’re interested in supporting Jangala, you can make a donation via this website.
The EMEA Partner Conference itself will follow the theme of ‘The Extreme Difference’. This describes our approach to building strong relationships with, investing in, and enabling our channel partner community to deliver innovation for their customers and to unleash the power of cloud-driven networking for their business growth.
We’ll be exploring these themes of community, collaboration, and innovation across a series of enablement sessions, TED-style-talks, workshops, and roundtables, as well as product training.
Sessions and workshops will cover key areas such as:
Our EMEA Partner Conference is also a social event. It’s a great opportunity for attendees to network with Extreme Networks representatives and peers from the industry, and to participate in executive 1:1’s and collaboration stations.
Last, but by no means least, one of the highlights of the conference will be our awards ceremony, where we recognize those partners that have gone above and beyond, achieving phenomenal results across EMEA. There are 29 awards up for grabs, culminating in the much-coveted ‘Partner of the Year’. We wish all of our partners who are in the running the best of luck. Keep an eye on our social channels for details and updates.
